Perfectionista was created because, as a naturally chaotic person, I, Toetsie Dingemans, realized, especially since becoming a mother in 2012, how much time I was “wasting” cleaning up “things.” As a caregiver for clients with “Acquired Brain Injury” (PGB) since 2012, I became even more aware of the importance of having structure in daily life. I wanted to spend the time I devoted to simply “moving” problems, both professionally and personally, on raising my son and providing actual care to my clients. With many ups and downs, I eventually developed a number of methods that save me a lot of time, reduce stress, and create space. Physical space, but also mental space. Space to do the things I enjoy.

Becoming a Professional Organizer

After much research and consideration, I completed the Professional Organizer training program and passed with a 9.5. Whether it’s people downsizing and having too much stuff for their new home or people with unsorted photos filling up their computers, I noticed that many people experience stress in their daily lives in this area. “Yes, the attic is completely full, we’ll deal with it sometime” or “Since the divorce, I don’t even know where things are anymore” are common expressions. And I completely understand this. Helping people live with more space, less stress, and therefore a much happier life gradually became a real business. Working, raising a family, running a household, and fulfilling social obligations is a lot. Too much. Last year, people were suddenly forced to work from home. Priorities have changed, and so has “how we live.” Dealing with major changes is not easy. But fortunately, Perfectionista offers a wide range of practical long-term solutions that will make your life more manageable.

Perfectionista creates permanent solutions for your spaces and lives, together with you. We maximize and optimize virtually every space in the home, with only one goal in mind: a clutter-free, streamlined, and stress-free life for my clients.

Perfectionista has a deep-rooted passion for organizing. While I certainly don’t expect you to share this passion, I do believe that “organizing” is a skill that you can learn. That’s why, during the session(s), I also teach you how to keep your home clutter-free in the long term.
